The 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) (1st SFG(A)) is a unit of the U.S. Army Special Forces operating in the Indo-Pacific. While there isn't a beret and dagger specifically for the 1st SFG, all U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers are known as "Green Berets" and may receive a new type of dagger, the "Green Beret Dagger," as a symbol of legacy and identity upon graduation from the Special Forces Qualification Course. This dagger, developed in conjunction with the Green Beret Foundation, pays homage to the historical V-42 fighting knife and is intended to create a bond among Green Berets, according to this Instagram post and this YouTube video, and this Instagram post.
